I wanted to share the following conversation between my 12 year old daughter and myself that took place while I helped her with her hair this morning...
Daughter ~ "Where are all of my headbands...I used to have a ton of them..."
Mom ~ "Well I like to think that here is a place for everything and everything in it's place and not that the whole house is a place and everything is all over the place."
Daughter ~ "That is good advice Mom...you should put that on your blog!"
Mom ~ "Thanks...I just might do that."

Lexi's exciting conversation today was coming home from school telling me she made the highest grade in her class on her last reading test they took yesterday. Those tests have been challenging for her and she made a 101. She missed one question but got a bonus question right. YAY Lexi!

Isn't she smart to know that this would be good to put on a blog? We all WISH everything had a place in our homes. I need a 12 year old to advise me about something to post on my blog! laurie

Oh, I'm staying with 3 grands for 3 days and 4 nights and, believe me, we have had some of the darndest conversations you can imagine....I just love it !!

I love it! My daughter is always telling me to "put that on your blog," too. The other day I found her playing in her room and asked what she was doing. She said her stuffed monkey was "writing a blog post about his day." Ha.
