A few years ago I planted six inexpensive hydrangea bushes, some rose bushes, and some Shasta daisy plants hoping that in some not so distant day in the future I would be able to harvest bouquets of flowers to fill the house and fill my soul...that day is today and let me tell you that I am hooked! Bouquets of flowers from our garden...and today it didn't cost a dime!!!...now that is something to get hooked on. Thank you Julia from Hooked on Houses for such a wonderful gathering of delightful things to get hooked on!
Planted about five years ago...these beauties love shade and water...
...and grow super ~ duper fast and last forever as a cut flower...
LOVE THESE LOTS AND LOTS!!!
Shasta Daisies...enough said!
I love orange roses! Portland, Oregon is known as the "Rose City" so of course these wonderful blossoms thrive here in the Northwest...
Lots and lots of vases of flowers...
Ready to go...even rescued a sweet ladybug from the bundles of flowers...
it that lucky or something?

WOW your flowers are GORGEOUS!!! I have never tried a hydrangea bush but I see them around here so I know they will grow. I think I may have to try a couple because I LOVE how their blooms look. I have plenty of shaded areas around my yard and I will definitely provide the water so we will see!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Our heat index has been ridiculous....between 105 & 110!!! That is even too hot to be in the pool until after about 6:00 in the evening but that is where we will be!!!!♥
So pretty! I'll have to put Rose City on my plant list. Does it bloom continuously or only once?
Are these your flowers or someone else's? I didn't think you had been living there for 5 yrs to have planted them that long ago. Didn't you only move to Wyoming in the last few years?
Oooops! Sorry! Wrong Ramona!!!
Ramona, your flowers are beautiful! You obviously have the right touch. :)
I see that Darlene told you how hot it is. We live an hour from each other. It's too hot!
Your flowers are beautiful! I can't get enough of them either! Love, Love, Love them! They are one of God's best creations.
Sooooo gorgeous! laurie
The flowers are beautiful. Love the roses.
Did you know that you can make more hydrangea plants by putting a stone on the lower branch and wait til next spring. Voila more hydrangea plants to bloom!!!
