Valentine Folly

fol~ly n.
foolishness; ~or~
down right silly~ness...yeah, that sounds about right...
I just thought I would share some Valentine folly that went on 'round my neck~of~the~woods today.
I gathered goodies from around my home~ola to decorate for Valentine's Day...
When I looked around...I found that I have gleaned many a sweet tidbit for this season of love...

Even a antique baby dress...seemed like a gown for Cupid...don't you agree?

You just know that this is Cupid's middle name...
 Red burlap heart...just cuz...
And you may be surprised...this is not really Cupid's quilt...it is a pillow sham....
Cozy...and Valentine~y...

I love burlap...but you know that...

Chubby little tea pot...

Love...

So true...

This little darling is actually a Christmas decoration....

But I never pack this sweet little face away with the jingle~bells...would you?

I think not...

Folly, I tell you...pure folly...

And now...I have a heart shaped cookie cutter calling my name...good golly, I love the folly this season inspires...it is so much fun~ner than folding laundry...don't you agree?

Hi Ramona,

Just wanted to wish you a beautiful Valentine's Day.♥

Yesterday we hit about 50 degrees and all of our snow melted quickly. BUT, this morning it got a lot colder again and snow started falling at about 11:10. It is small flakes but coming down hard and is now starting to stick to the ground. What crazy, CRAZY weather we have had in Southern Oklahoma this year.
