Mona Minutes...what the who~ha is she talking about now?
They are actually silly little minutes that I give to myself to slow down, recharge, re~fill my half empty cup...a kind of respite from my daily doings...just a handful of minutes to do with however I see fit.
I just give myself some silly minutes often...but not as often as I should.
To better explain my silly minutes...or, as I like to refer to them...Mona minutes...I will show you how I spent some of them recently as I explain...
Please follow along....all the while you might like to hum a favorite tune...
Silly minutes are required daily...take ten of 'em...up to sixty at a time...
This day, I took all sixty and enjoyed every stinkin' one of them.
I went to G.W. and shopped for cute cups to use as scoops for my canisters...
My silly minutes rules are that I cannot spend more than ten dollars...
Preferably you wouldn't spend a nickel.
This day I spent two dollars and fifty cents.
Yep, two dollars and fifty cents and it took sixty silly minutes...
During those sixty minutes...
I was not thinking about anything else but
finding cups to use as scoops...silly? YES...relaxing....YOU BET!
You could do anything during your silly minutes...
You may call them anything you like...
Mine are called Mona minutes...I am sure you understand why...
You could meditate, read, garden, go for a walk...all of which don't cost a dime!
Just be ever present in the moment...
Be grateful...
Relax...
These three cups and what I did with them are as silly as it gets...
But when I was walking out of the G.W. I was relaxed and smiling...
Fill your cup today with some of your own special silly minutes...
Remember ~ you cannot fill anyone else's cup if your cup is empty.

What a wonderful post Ramona!!! I love your Mona minutes. I steal my own minutes any time I can!!! LOVE the cups you found at GW. They are beautiful in your canisters. Lexi is at summer play practice and I'm stealing some minutes right now :)
Hope you are having a wonderful week. Lexi is so glad school is out and she is having some long, lazy days already.♥
This is a terrific post Ramona. I think these stolen minutes are so important in life, no matter how we choose to spend them. Love your scooping cups, I know you'll enjoy using them even more because you bought them using "Mona Minutes."
I love this idea too! 10 minutes to do whatever you want..guilt free...no worries. I also love the idea of just giving myself $10 totally guilt free. Fun!
Love the idea to use the cups as scoops..how pretty and cheerful!!!
Love your 'Mona Minutes" too!!!
Fun way to unwind and take out from a busy day!!!
Blessings~
This is a wonderful post! With a little one at home and now school is out and the other here all day, my days fill like they are over before they ever even begin. But a few minutes -even ten- would feel like heaven some days. Maybe I need to make a "Mamma Minutes" sign to hang on my door ~ LOL!!

Ramona, what a lovely and profound reminder.
I have had a very difficult week, and my cup was certainly quite empty. So I am stealing some time to refresh, regroup and refill!
I love to spill my cup of blessings on others, so refilling mine is so important.
The best way to do that for me is to get into the Bible and spend some time with the Lord!
What a timely reminder for me. Thanks!
Blessings to you,
Yvonne
Hi Romona, What a cute idea . . I love the G.W. You never know what you are going to find. I try to steal minutes for myself everyday, especially when I'm blogging. This was a cute post, enjoyed it. Sandy:O)
