Taking Time For A Bit Of Porch Put~zing

I have said it before and you just gotta know that I will say it again....I love to putz. It is the most relaxing activity that I partake in. When I am merrily put~zing about, I find that I am in the Zone...big time....and when I am in that Zone, I am in it deep. So when the talented Melissa of The Inspired Room announced a Fall Drive By Party...featuring fall porches, all I could think was..."oh good golly, it's a put~zing opportunity and all I can say is ~ "I putz, therefore I am...cha, cha, cha!"

Welcome!

Polka dot mini pumpkins, painted pine cones, harvest corn and apple potpourri...

Yep, potpourri~ola...

My put~zing partner extraordinaire ~ our cat ~ Roxie Annette...she has an opinion on everything!

My girls may be "done" with this ol' doll house....but not me...
no way, no how....this house and I have big plans...

Grapevine baby pumpkins...

You got that right!

Turban Squash ~ good baked, steamed or microwaved and keeps well...
that is what the sticker on it's back side read...."keeps well"....well okay then...

I'll keep it on the porch!

I've had this little bundle of corn ~ love for over 15 years...
It didn't have a sticker that read..."keeps well"...but it sure does!

One can never have too much corn...

One of my favorite things...

Hanging corn...and one of my "drop~cloth" pumpkin pillows...

Pumpkin and Cow pillows...together at last!

And the world is as it should be...

Ahhhhh....I love to paint cloth...which, in my book, is another form or put~zing...

A cart of squash and cones...

The orange squash is called ~ Orangetti...don't you just love it...Orangetti!It's label read ~ "Golden orange tone inside and out! Best used instir fry, sauteed or boiled." They forgot ~ Best used for porch put~zing!

More large orange squash with drop~cloth pumpkin leaves...

I love the angle of the sun in Autumn...

Don't you agree that painting drop~cloth leaves is fun~er than doing laundry?

Mr. Pumpkin with his pals named Rosemary...

Save the date!

Ohhhh, I love Halloween!

Well, this was fun....Roxie Annette and I bid you farewell and hope that you willvisit again...be sure to pop back over to The Inspired Room where youare guaranteed to be inspired and then some. Thank you Melissa for hostingsuch a fun~o~rama fall porch party...you are always the hostess with the most~ess!

Smiles ~ Ramona

Ramona, I've been away.... I'm still in awe over the Fanciful Twist Soiree! What a Halloween Extravaganza! It was my first visit to her blog...if you can call it that a blog.
I adored your idea of wrapping wide ribbon around the pumpkins. I love decorating with pumpkins for Fall, but don't like carving. That also limits them to just Halloween. Now I can have both...with no pumpkins harmed in my decorating process.
Come visit,I've got my Parisian Give Away (valued at $200+) going on at my blog.
Sweet Wishes!
Sara

Very clever ideas. I had to laugh at your "keeps well" comments. Hope that I remember to save my Indian corn!

I love it all. And I can't believe your corn has kept all these years. That's amazing!
Your pumpkin pillow is so cute and so is Roxie - she's perfect for Halloween, too. :)

How fun and whimsical and delightful!!! Love your kitty, too...love that she has an opinion on everything...isn't that always the case with those furballs? ;)

I love that big green ribbon on that pumpkin, too and I can't believe that corn is 15 years old! lol Too funny!

Very nice, Ramona, wish I could trick or treat there!

Ramona this is such a fun post. I felt like I was taking a little vacation. The pumpkin pillows are just great.

I have a putz~ing partner too, a cat named Oliver. I actually call him my "personal assistant" because he insists on helping me no matter what I'm doing!
